Starting SoonBoys Youth WrestlingWrestlingBemidji Boys Youth Wrestling is for boys in grades PK-5. 6th grade boys will be able to join Bemidji Youth Wrestling once the BMS wrestling season has concluded. Wrestlers must be 4 years old when the wrestling season starts but do not need to be enrolled in a preschool. There is a T/TH option and a M/T/TH option for each age level and season. Only those that have at least one year of wrestling experience will be eligible for the M/T/TH option. T/TH practices are at Gene Dillon Elementary. Grades 4-5 practice from 330-500 and Grades K-3 practice from 500-600. Wrestlers in grades 4-5 will be chaperoned in the Aux Gym from after their dismissal time until practice starts at 330. Monday practices are from 615-745 in the BHS Wrestling Room (combined K-5). For all boys in grades PK-3 that are new to wrestling there is a Mon/Wed section from 500-600 in the Gene Dillon Elementary. All sections are broken up into two seasons. You must register for a season before your child will be allowed to participate. In order for coaches to successfully build on the foundations established during Season 1, wrestlers must participate in Season 1 in order to be eligible to register for Season 2. Exceptions may be made with coach's discretion. Season 1: December 8th - January 22nd Season 2: January 26th- March 5th Registration fee includes T-shirt. Registration for Bemidji Youth Wrestling Tournament will be covered for those registered in Community Ed Youth Wrestling. All wrestlers are invited to Youth Wrestling night on January 29th to watch the BHS Lumberjacks battle the DGF Rebels. WaitlistGene Dillon Dance TeamDanceWe would like to invite 4th and 5th grade Gene Dillon students to join our dance team. We will be learning a fun and exciting routine that will incorporate kick, jazz and hip hop styles all in one. A team t-shirt will be included in the cost and used for our performances. There will be a performance for families and friends at the end of the session. We may also have other performance opportunities that will be determined at a later date.Winter/Spring 2026 -

Lumberjacks SkiSparksCross Country SkiingThe Lumberjack SkiClub meets each Monday and Friday after school at Gene Dillon Elementary. Sessions will be lead by experienced volunteers. Participants will learn about cross country skiing and spend time practicing on the trails behind Gene Dillon Elementary. A limited number of rental skis are available. Registration through Community Ed and myxc.org website is required. Program registration $40, Equipment Rental $35. Students must be dressed for the weather conditions to participate. Practices will not be canceled unless weather conditions are severe.Winter/Spring 2026 -

Safeway recommends allowing approximately 30 days between each driving lesson, with the final lesson completed about 30 days prior to a potential road test.
