  • Cross Country Skiing

    The Lumberjack SkiSparks Club meets each Monday after school at Gene Dillon Elementary. Sessions will be lead by experienced volunteer coaches. Participants will learn about cross country skiing and spend time practicing on the trails behind Gene Dillon Elementary. A limited number of rental skis are available. Registration through Community Ed and myxc.org website is required. Program registration $40, Equipment Rental $35.

  • Dive Camp Ages 14 and up

    Learn how to dive and/or come further your skills! Registration: $110 DIVING CAMP Come dive with BHS alumni, three-time state qualifier, and current University of South Dakota division I diver, Mady Schmidt. For all skilllevels, ages 9 and up.
  • Early Childhood & ECFE

    Classes are designed for any and all families with children ages birth through 5. At ECFE, we understand that you are your child's first and most influential teacher. Our goal is to support you in your child-raising journey and it is our mission to provide the best possible environment for the healthy growth and development of your child. ECFE offers a variety of classes and you may join a class any time during the school year. As your child is exploring growing independence, these classes will provide opportunities to practice social skills, early literacy and math skills, creative art and more! The classroom will have engaging learning centers that will develop school readiness skills. Parents will have the opportunity to develop connections with other parents, learn how to support your child's needs, gain parenting skills, a positive support system, social skills for your child and a first introduction to school.

    Families can attend with no registration required. Cost is $5 per time/per family. Come and play in our ECFE classroom and the gym.

    The Bemidji High School Football program and Bemidji Community Education partner to provide a fun flag football program for boys and girls in grades K-5. Practices are twice a week and start in late April each year. Grades K-3 practices at the BHS football fields and grades 4-5 practice on the GDE football fields. Practices will be run by BHS coaches and players and will include fun drills and games.
  • Football Kickoff Camp

    Camp is for all boys and girls entering grades K-5 in the fall. The 2025 BHS Football team is excited to work with the next generation of Bemidji football players. BHS coaches and players will lead this fun two day kickoff camp. Registration fee is $50, which includes free T-shirt.

Rates: $12/day for Full-Time, $13/day for Part-Time (1-4 set days a week) Registration Fee: $30 Early Release Days: $20 Summer Kids Summer Kids is an all day child care program for students entering 1st - 5th grades. We are located at Bemidji Middle School and the program runs 7:30am - 6:00pm, June 16th, 2025-August 8, 2025. Rates: $30/day for Full Time, $33/day for Part time (1-4 set days a week) Registration Fee: $30 **Please note: If your child attends the Summer Learning Program, and needs care after that program ends at 4:30pm, you will need to register them separately for Summer Learning After Care.
