All Kids Bike, Inclusive Learn to Ride ProgramUnifiedAs part of the Strider Education Foundation, the "All Kids Bike, Inclusive Learn to Ride Program" is on a mission to teach all ages and abilities the life-enhancing skill of how to ride a bike. Bemidji Community Education and Bemidji Unified Special Olympics are partnering to provide this program in Bemidji. Our instructors are trained and certified in the All Kids Bike program. This class is open to ALL students, ages 5-18. In order to create a balance of participants with and without disabilities, there are two sections for each age group. Please make sure to register for the appropriate section. If class section is full, please chose a different time slot (if available) or add your student's name to the waiting list. NewPageantize MeGeneral InterestHave you heard of Miss America? Are you curious about how you can become involved or compete? The public perception of Miss America is often that it's a one-night event, but in reality, it's so much more. This class is open to girls and women ages 13-25 that want to know more. We will cover the basics of pageants, areas of competition and how to get started. Participants will gain confidence and preparation to enter local competitions and/or compete on bigger stages. While some pageant coaches charge over $100 per hour, but registration for this class is only $30 per session, or $50 for both sessions. Subject matter will be based on participants' needs. Class will be led by Angie Pagnac. Angie doesn't consider herself a coach, but rather a mentor. She has been a local director for over 10 years and has judged several other pageants. Run 4 FunRunningRun 4 Fun track meets will be held each Tuesday from 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM at the BHS track from June 16th-Aug 24th. These track meets are for kids age 12 and under. Participants will have fun racing against other kids their age in a variety of distances and will earn a treat at the end of each meet. Zebco School of FishGeneral InterestThe Zebco School of Fish is a 2 1/2 hour kids fishing class open to kids from 1st grade and up (2026-2027 school year). Taught by Mike Frisch from the Fishing the Midwest TV show. Students will learn about lakes, the fish that live in them and how to catch them. They will also learn to tie a fishing knot and rig, and to use a slip-bobber set up. Students will receive a Zebco rod and reel, tackle box and tackle, School of Fish hat or T-shirt, and a School of Fish full color workbook. Most importantly they'll leave class with the knowledge, skills and equipment to go fishing! One adult is invited to attend with the child at no additional charge, provided they share one equipment packet. Students in grades 1-4 are asked to be accompanied by one adult at no additional charge, providing they share one equipment package.Summer 2026
