Canva for Nonprofits & Non-Designers
Adult Enrichment / Digital Literacy & Professional Tools -
Winter/Spring 2026
This hands-on class is for anyone who needs to make flyers, posters, or social media graphics but has little or no design experience. Canva is a free, easy-to-use design tool, but it can feel overwhelming if you’re new. This course breaks it down step by step at a comfortable pace, with plenty of guided practice.
Over four sessions, participants will learn how to use Canva’s basic tools to create clean, readable, professional-looking materials for nonprofits, community groups, or small organizations. No design background is required, and the focus is on practical skills you can use right away.
Details:
- No design experience required
- Participants should have a nonprofit Canva license set up if they plan to follow along
- Bring a laptop (limited laptops available if needed)
