Sushi made with sushi-grade raw fish like salmon or tuna wrapped in rice and seaweed can be a polarizing dish—people either love it or strongly dislike it. But California Rolls? They turn those "NO"s into enthusiastic "YES"s! Join Tess as she guides you through the process of making a variety of delicious California rolls that will make you wonder why you’ve never tried making them yourself. California rolls are incredibly versatile and can be customized to your taste—vegetarian, with or without seaweed, spicy or mild—the possibilities are endless!
In this class, you’ll learn how to make:
- Seasoned sushi rice
- Spicy mayo
- Stuffed, wrapped, and shaped rolls
- Crab salad (using crab sticks) for the filling
Tess will also share creative ideas for decorating your sushi plates to impress your guests!
Make it a fun date night or family activity as you create lasting memories in the kitchen. You’ll have the opportunity to interact with the instructor, ask questions, and connect with other participants while you cook along. With each new skill learned and piece of advice shared, you'll gain confidence in the kitchen.
While cooking along is highly recommended and a lot of fun, it is completely optional.
