T'ai Chi Chih ® Beginners I

T’ai Chi Chih is a mindfulness moving meditation.  The set of 19 movements and one pose is soft, flowing and easy to learn.  Benefits may include peace of mind, improved health, improved balance and coordination, and joy.

The “Beginners I” session is for new students or for previous T’ai Chi Chih students that would like a review.  The “Beginners I” session will focus on movements 1-10.  Each class will be a combination of learning new movements and a review of previous movements learned.

I grew up in a small farming community in South Dakota and met my husband while attending college. We chose the extraordinary community of Bemidji to make our home and raise our family. 
I started practicing T'ai Chi Chih®️ in 2010 and received my Teacher Accreditation in 2021. I have been teaching through Bemidji Community Education since 2022.
T'ai Chi Chih, a mindfulness moving meditation, has something to offer to all ages and fitness levels. I practice T'ai Chi Chih to support my journey in healthy aging. Introducing the practice of T'ai Chi Chih to others brings me great joy.
