BCT Jr Summer Theater Camp
A two week adventure peeking into the basics of theater production from acting, singing, and dancing to stage combat and scenic painting, musical theater and theater performance. All classes culminate in a final performance. 10 full scholarships are available and are restricted to one per family. Scholarships requests are due by May 22nd. Please email scholarship forms to kwcannon@paulbunyan.net. The 10 scholarship recipients will be selected and notified by the Bemidji Community Theater shortly after the scholarship deadline. Those not selected will be contacted and registration fee will need to be paid in full by June 3rd. BCT Jr scholarship App.docx Camp participants will need to be signed in and signed out each day. Only authorized adults will be permitted to check students out. Multiple class sections are available for registration. It is recommended that you register your child for a different section if their preferred section is full and place them on the waiting list for their preferred section. Stagecraft 1 (Ages 8-12): Perfect for beginners! Students explore drama, music and dance while building basic performance skills. Final day includes a short play plus a group song and dance. Stagecraft 2 (Ages 8-12): For students with some experience. Build skills in acting, singing and movement while working on a more complex play. Final performance includes play, song and dance. Prerequisite: 1 year of camp or equivalent. Stagecraft 3 (Ages 8-12): For experienced performers ready for more challenge. Students rehearse a longer play and strengthen skills in drama, music and dance. Final performance showcases growth. Prerequisite: 2 years of camp or 1 year + BCT Mainstage. Performance (Ages 10-15): Advanced class focussed on acting and production. Students audition, perform in a play (or create their own) and help with set and costume ideas. Learn character development and projection. Prerequisite: 3 years of camp or equivalent. experience. Advanced Musical Theater (Ages 12-18): Focus on storytelling through song, movement and dance. Build vocal projection and audition skills while preparing an original showcase performance. Prerequisite: 3 years of camp + 1 BCT musical or equivalent. Tech (Ages 12-18): Go behind the scenes! Learn set design, scenic painting and stage combat. No experience needed. -

Kids & Company Registration 2026-2027 School Year Opens May 4th at 8:00am Kids & Company is an after school program for students in Kindergarten - 5th grades that need a safe, supervised place after school (until 6:00pm). Our program operates each school day at Bemidji Elementary Schools (Gene Dillon, Horace May, Lincoln, Northern and Solway). Rates: $12/day for Full-Time, $13/day for Part-Time (1-4 set days a week) Registration Fee: $30 Summer Kids & Company Summer Kids & Co. is an all day child care program for students entering 1st - 5th grades. We are located at Bemidji High School and the program runs 7:30am - 6:00pm, June 8th, 2026-August 7, 2026. Rates: $30/day for Full Time, $33/day for Part time (1-4 set days a week) Registration Fee: $30 **Please note: If your child attends the Summer Learning Program, and needs care after that program ends at 4:30pm, you will need to register them separately for Summer Learning After Care. -
